We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a 5 week spring curling season Fridays starting May 6th and it will run through June 3rd. This is a great chance to extend your curling season in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, meet curlers from several neighboring clubs and to jump right into the sport if you are taking part in one of our spring learn to curls. Hours are 8:00 - 10:30 and the cost is $125 per person. If you are interested, email us at info@southshorecurling.com

Jacob Falkof played in his first junior bonspiel last
weekend. He played on a 3 person team with Sean and Andrew Glaser at
the Cape Cod junior bonspiel. And they won it!!!!

South Shore Curling Club got it's first official bonspeil win at the Worchester Cup held at The Country Club this past weekend. SSCC Team 1 went on to win two games on Saturday. SSCC Team 2 played three very hard fought draws and ended the weekend with an exciting draw that went into extra ends.

Fundraising for GNCC Junior Teams attending Nationals in Alaska Jan 29th – Feb 5th We are very excited to have 4 teams representing the GNCC at the Junior Nationals at the end of January in Alaska. The teams will incur tremendous expenses for uniforms, flights and hotels and would appreciate any assistance from their fellow curlers.

North America completed their dominant performance at the Financial Group Continental Cup on Sunday, winning a pair of skins games and defeating the World team 298-102 -- the most lopsided margin in tournament history. Full Story

North American curlers expanded their already big lead at the World Financial Group Continental Cup by claiming 43 of the available points during seventh draw skins play Saturday. American Erika Brown swept all 20 points from Germany's Andrea Schopp in the women's match, while Kevin Koe and the North Americans did the same in mixed play. Full Story
